Saturday, October 12

We’re excited to announce the second annual Plant a Seed Day, taking place Saturday, October 12th.

Building on the enthusiasm and positive feedback from the first year, this event promises even more opportunities for families, gardening enthusiasts, and nature lovers to come together and celebrate the wonders of plant life.

Visitors will also have the chance to explore the newly opened Alameda Kuzuma Education
Zone, situated within the beautiful Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, and hop on a guided tour, designed for both adults and children to deepen their appreciation for Gibraltar's rich plant life.

The highlight of the day is the opportunity for attendees to "Plant a Seed" and nurture their connection with the environment. This hands-on activity is open to all ages, making it a fun and educational experience for both children and adults alike. Alongside this, an Arts and Crafts stall will offer creative projects to inspire participants, allowing everyone to take home a handmade keepsake from the event. For those seeking refreshment, a cake stall featuring a delicious variety of homemade treats will be available, accompanied by teas and coffees to enjoy while soaking in the scenic surroundings.

With these engaging activities and much more in store, the "Plant a Seed Day" is set to be a fun filled event that encourages everyone to embrace gardening and sustainability in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
